The “AI Vulnerability Storm”: Building a “Mythos-ready” Security Program

GRF CEO Mark Orsi and GRF’s Business Resilience Council were pleased to contribute to the urgent publication of “The “AI Vulnerability Storm”: Building a “Mythos-ready” Security Program.” Produced by Cloud Security Alliance, the paper is a rapid response to the reported ability of Anthropic’s Mythos to uncover significant, long hidden zero days in common programs and applications.

Over the weekend, dozens of CEOs, CISOs, and CTOs worked together to analyze the issue and recommend a security path forward to address the burgeoning threat that comes hand in hand with the many wonders of AI. Part of Mark’s contribution was the section “Build Collective Defense Now,” which includes text outlining the value of collaboration:

“Attackers already operate as syndicates, crowdsourcing, sharing tools, and moving as a collective. Engage now with sector coordinating groups, ISACs, CERTs, and standards bodies to share threat intelligence, coordinate response, and produce sector-specific guidance for this moment. Defenders must do the same and leverage our coordinating groups. Teams beat stovepipes, coalitions beat teams, and coalitions equipped with the right technology win.”
